New Morning Coaching Cancellation Policy
My goal is to provide quality business coaching to all my clients in a timely manner. No-shows, late calls, cancellations, and reschedules inconvenience not only me, but my other clients as well. Please be aware of our policy regarding missed appointments.
Appointment (Session) Cancellations & Reschedules
When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on my calendar that is no longer available to my other clients. In order to be respectful of others, please contact me as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.
If cancellation/reschedule is necessary, I require that you cancel at least 48 hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another client access to that appointment time. Be advised that your cancellation/reschedule does not guarantee you will be able to re-book an appointment within the same week, month, etc. Your cancellation will not give you priority in rescheduling. Appointments are on a first come, first served basis. I advise that at the same time of your cancellation, you also reserve your new preferred appointment time by booking a new appointment immediately.
Important note regarding all monthly coaching plans: ALL monthly coaching plans are provided at a steep discount (compared to booking sessions individually), as such the rescheduling rules are a little different than standalone sessions. You may reschedule appointments within the same month only as my availability allows. Reschedules are not guaranteed. If you change, cancel, or fail to schedule your appointment within the calendar month, you'll lose that month's appointment. Uncompleted sessions will not be credited or refunded. It cannot be made up. This incentivizes you to keep to the commitment you've made.

Late Cancellations / No-Shows
A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled or requested to be cancelled less than 48 hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a client misses an appointment without cancelling.
For free first session:
If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours or miss it entirely, I am in no obligation to reschedule or keep future appointments. Ideal clients honor their appointments. If there was a true emergency*, I will honor one rescheduling appointment.
For paid standalone sessions:
If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice or miss it entirely, you will lose your session fee and I am in no obligation to reschedule you. Should you wish to reschedule a missed appointment, you are welcome to do so but you will be expected to pay the new session fee in its entirety without discount. The one exception to this policy is my emergency policy, which I will honor once per six month period. If there was a true emergency* that caused you to miss your appointment, I will honor one rescheduling appointment and apply the previously paid fee to a future session scheduled no more than 6 months in the future. If you have more than one late cancellation or missed appointment per six month period, I may ask you to reconsider business coaching or seek a different business coach.

If you change, cancel, or fail to schedule your appointment within the same calendar month for any reason, you'll lose that month's appointment. Uncompleted sessions will not be credited or refunded. It cannot be made up.
*Definition of “true emergency”: an unforeseeable event that holds priority over a coaching session such as but not limited to death, loss, abrupt illness, or physical accidents of self, household members, or immediate family; natural disasters; sudden threat to place of residence (i.e. busted pipe); or the like.
Events that do not qualify as a “true emergency”: poor internet connection, poor cell phone reception, sleeping late, missing an alarm, bad weather, lost dog/cat/cow, forgetting what day of the week it is, holiday (planned or spontaneous), absent childcare, Nordstrom Rack sale, waiting for the cable guy, etc.

My Obligation to You
I will do my best to hold your appointment in all but the rarest occasions. Should I need to reschedule your appointment, I will get in touch with you in advance via email, phone call, or text to find a new time that works. I will not require a new appointment fee for my reschedules. Should I miss an appointment entirely (oops! I’m human too!), I will always refund your session fee and reschedule you at no additional cost.
